I'm a passionate photographer with nearly a decade of experience spanning creative collaborations in fashion and cuisine, to graduation photo shoots, headshots and dating profile pics, and more. I studied molecular engineering at the University of Chicago and went on to work in a microscopy lab at the Marine Biological Laboratory, where I furthered my knowledge of physics/optics, computation, and color science. My work has been published in the University of Chicago bite Magazine (culinary organization) as well online for the University of Chicago's 2022 Science as Art competition.
It's evident that my scientific background deeply influences my photographic style, and vice versa. I bring a unique perspective to my work, blending technical expertise with a creative eye to capture stunning images that tell a story and often draw inspiration from the natural world and my midwestern roots.
My approach combines technical precision with artistic vision, ensuring every shot not only meets but exceeds expectations. I believe that great photography is about connection—understanding your vision and bringing it to life in ways you never imagined.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me exploring new locations, experimenting in the lab, mentoring students, and continuously honing my craft to stay at the forefront of photographic innovation.
